Only a Few Voices

The feedback I have received over the past months indicates that D.R. Horton is not living up to their responsibilities. This is no surprise!
There are issues with the equipment in the pool area, there are issues with the gate.
I see comments by D.R. Horton about residents not taking responsibility for the actions of their children.
Bull!!!
Without a secure gate who knows who is responsible for all this crap!
We need more people to voice their opinions. I have been hearing from a select few that are willing to step up. Without numbers we are not going to get anyones attention.

Brentwood Lakes Estates

I have attempted multiple times to contact Marinello & Kotz. They don't answer their phones!!!
I shredded the agreement they sent me.

I have a nephew in law, if I need help I will contact him.

Recent Letter From Henry Marinelo

We received a letter today from Henry Marinello asking us to sign something that would give them "authority to represent". It mentioned that we had signed a retainer agreement and now that Marinello & Kotzen are parting ways mr. Marinello is asking us to sign a new retainer agreement. The problem is we "never" signed any such agreement.
Be careful, make sure you know what you are commiting to.

Nothing has changed

I don't agree with "no news is good news!!"
Nothing has changed thanks to D.R. Horton

I will continue to challenge them

Please ask your neighbors to log on

Brentwood Lakes is almost 5 years old now. I would expect that the HOA could possibly be turned over to the residents in the near future. That of course is in the hands of D.R. Horton.
Even though we don't have a real date for the transfer, it is probably in our own best interests as a community to begin communicating with each other. Please tell your neighbors about this blog and ask them to log on and leave a comment with a name and an email address,

Thanks
Rick Weick

Violation Notice

We received a violation notice this week from Sentry Management. It ordered us to remove weeds from the garden, plant grass and remove the utility trailer from the driveway.
THAT"S NOT MY HOUSE!!
The violaton notice was supposed to be issued for the house next to us.

Lisa apologized later in the week. The notice was redirected to the house next to us.
We will be very happy when that mess is cleaned up

Recent Happenings in the Hood

It was good to hear about some activity taking place here in the Estates. A big thanks to Dante and Angie and Louise for communicating with Lisa about some of the issues we need to address.
Here is Lisas' reply:

I am currently in the process of doing property inspections and sending out violation notices for a number of this items.  It’s that time of year when the winter is over and we can’t blame the cold for the grass problems anymore and crackdowns are starting again.  As for the dog fecis, I will work on a newsletter for the community about this and the trash, but if you know of the specific offender (addresses) then I can send a violation notice to them as well.  Still though, the best recourse for any animal problems is the Brevard County Animal Services, who will fine owners for this directly.
